The day held mixed feelings for her as she realized that they could have a two year old child, she could have been a mother that mothers day. For some reason, that thought hit her a lot harder this year then it had the year before. She bit her lip as she walked in, she had felt a little sickly at her parents house and had napped for awhile at the insistance of Kato who was worried to death over his baby girl. She hated to stress out her family so much, especially since her mom was pregnant but it wasn't like there was much she could do about it. Suddenly, she realized her mind was wandering again and she hadn't answer Jake's question so she turned her attention back to him. "Hmm? Oh, I am alright." She stated with an absent smile, there was just a lot on her mind which tended to be the norm lately. She smiled softly, turning back to face him when they stepped into the apartment. "We should take Max out for a walk before it gets cold..." She seemed really sensitive to cold lately, even when Jake was completely comfortable she would be freezing. A low breath escaped her lips as she looked down at the shelter rescue pup they had adopted together and he had paid for as a gift for her. "He has been all locked up all day..."
