Subject: Waiting for so long,,,,

She was sitting stretched out on the couch, her long legs bare in front of her. The air conditioner was out, and it was insanely hot in her building, so she was just kinda chilling there, completely bored by the whole situation. One hand moved to turn the tv down before she started flipping channels; at the same time her opposite handled quickly and knowingly dialed the digits to Jake's cell phone, hoping she would catch him. He had mentioned going out with some people, but she just wanted to chat for a bit.

He was still trying to sort out plans - who was meeting who where - and was currently sitting in his car, just about to pull out of a parking lot, when she called. He had to know she always wanted him there,but she didn't want to be one of those girlfriends who always had to have their man either.
