That's funny since they are made in Linden, NJ! :)

I've never heard they were limited to any market. It might have been an northeast release cause they are made here and could only make so many but Pickups is not big here. Just a few years ago, you could not drive a pickup on certain roads in NY, NJ, and CT cause they were considered a Commercial Vehicle. You can now register a pickup as Passenger Vehicle now.

When I did a seach on GMBUYPOWER.com, they had about the same amount of crews in the southeast than the northeast. I bet there would be more in the south if it was available in 2wd, cause you see soo many 2wd trucks in the south cause of the insurance premium over 2wd.

I saw news a few weeks ago that the S10 pickup and blazer line will continue to atleast 2004(was suppose to stop in 2003 because of the new Colorado) because of good demand still and high profit for GM. But don't except a new s10 model, just appearance packages like the ZR5 package(would have been nice if it was a real ZR2 suspension). BTW, the Long bed s10 is not available anymore so I bet they used that run to make more crews. But if they do make a ZR2 Crew, I would probably trade mine in to get that! :)

Cheers,
Con
