Caro Marco: anch'io non sto più nella pelle, anche perchè sembra che questo sia un anno decisivo. Se va bene, possiamo porre le basi per pensare in grande il futuro, altrimenti sarà l'ennesima occasione persa. E parlo anche del coinvolgimento di Roma nel Torneo. Sabato sarò probabilmente a Pub Italia, davanti alla curva sud del Flaminio, per registrare le impressioni della vigilia per le pagine romane del giornale.
In questi due giorni sono stato al Summit, dove i nostri si stanno preparando (dovevo fare un'intervista a Masi, che prima o poi uscirà sul Corriere): mi sembra che l'aria sia più o meno come tutte le altre vigilie importanti, i ragazzi sembrano sereni ma concentrati. Quelli che sbroccano sono invece i "vertici": alla conferenza stampa di ieri alla FIR, come vi avevo promesso, ho chiesto a JK di Pez e lui ha dato da matto (dopo, al buffet, Mazzocchi mi ha detto che l'avevo fatto inc****re sul serio!). In pratica gli ho chiesto in che posizione del suo ranking personale delle aperture lo considerava - visto che JK ha sempre detto che vuole 5 giocatori affidabili per ogni ruolo - e lui mi ha risposto a denti stretti che, se Ramiro migliorerà due o tre cosette tecnicamente, allora entrerà nei cinque! Poi, da quanto ha aggiunto, ho capito che lui avrebbe voluto puntare su Mazzariol, come apertura "italiana" per questa stagione, ma l'infortunio lo ha messo fuori causa.
Bella la presentazione della maglia Kombat (tipo quella degli inglesi): speriamo che serva a qualcosa!
