Non ho potuto vedre gli incontri, ma devono essere state partite splendide.
I quarti sono ormai disegnati e l'impronta dell'IRB si vede fin troppo. Le 8 squadre più meritevoli sono state (anche se non ho visto tutte le partite esprimo lo stesso un giudizio):
NZ, Aus, Saf, Fra, Eng, Irl, Arg, Sam.

Le ultime due sono fuori perché infilate in gironi impossibili.
Al loro posto ci sono Sco e Gal: perfino Fiji e Italia avrebbero potuto essere davanti a loro se solo avessero avuto un po' di fortuna e calendari alla pari.

Ora l'Inghilterra ha la strada spianata verso la finale. Si aspetta invece la prima grossa sorpresa dei mondiali, due secondo me le candidate: 1) Francia sconfitta dall'Irlanda 2) Nzl battuta in semifinale dall'Aus (la famosa "toppata" che citava Raul.
