A proposito di tre quarti figiani, il povero Tuta Vodo è stato sequestrato agli Antipodi e non gli vogliono più dare il visto d'uscita (sembra che se ne parli il 28 agosto, e così salta pure la convocazione per la RWC).
Intanto ieri sono stato alla presentazione della nuova Rugby Roma: la dirigenza ha spergiurato che non ci sarà più un anno come quest'ultimo e Veltroni (eravamo ospiti in Campidoglio) ha sbrodolato sull'importanza del rugby per Roma. Però ieri la Roma è stata cacciata dal Tre Fontane alle 8 di sera dal custode del CONI che chiudeva bottega ...
Comunque, se va tutto in porto, bella squadra: dal Viadana sono arrivati Frasca, Buhrmann, Pickering e soprattutto Goosen; De Anna (Alex) dal Rovigo e un po' di ragazzotti dalla Lazio; due ex giovanotti di belle speranze emigrati oltremanica, Gentile e Palladino, sono rientrati alla base; in più è arrivato l'ex pilone del Galles Peter Rogers e dovrebbe rimanere anche Caione. Dal Sudafrica, dove stanno giocando la Currie Cup, arriveranno in ottobre Boyse, Lessing e una terza centro che non è stata rivelata, ma sembra sia un ex Springbok; dal Tarbes c'è un giovane flanker, Mengelle, raccomandato da Fourcade. E poi tutti i ragazzotti di scuola Roma, compresi i nazionali delle giovanili Pegoretti, Onori, Pietrosanti e Pratichetti jr. Vedremo.
