From the top of a nearby building Demitri, the Leader of the Creepers and secretly one of the infamous Spirits, looked down at the two newcomers. He could tell they were familiar with the city but not with what had happened in it recently. The Enforcers had formed a tyranny because of the madman Albert and his female enforcer Jessica. Ever since Victor was dismissed everything had went to hell in a handbasket. If it weren�t for the Spirits most of the Tribes in the city would not have any hope for the future. And recently the mysterious Legacy had joined their cause. He seemed to be fighting for the same reasons as the Spirits but one could never be too sure. In any event, Legacy hadn�t given the Spirits any reason not to believe they shared the same goals for the city so they gave him the benefit of the doubt. But they also still kept a close eye on him.

The darker of all of the masked warriors who made up the Spirits, Demitri always seemed to go the extra step and struck fear into people more than any other Spirit. Even when he wasn�t in costume he still had that demeanor about him. However being the Leader of the Creepers this wasn�t too shocking. Demitri had joined the Spirits along with Victor and Damien because the three Tribe leaders shared the same vision for the city, but had their respective ways of doing what it would take to get to that point. Nevertheless together they could be a much more powerful force to be reckoned with as opposed to apart. And furthermore Albert would never suspect Tribe leaders to be the masked vigilantes resisting his insane reign over the city. Would he? The answer to that question remained to be seen.

Demitri leaned against the edge of the roof, still observing the two girls with thought. He could leave if he wanted to. After the last fight with the Enforcers and Jessica him and all of the Spirits were beaten, battered, and exhausted. But if robbers or thieves took both of these girls� lives and he wasn�t there to stop them all because of his laziness he would never forgive himself. So he decided to stay on the lookout�but only until dawn�
