In reply to: Archer, Eliza, Zorina, and Timm 's message, "Welcoming of two new Strangers, plus the beginning of the Attack" on 14:38:38 07/25/02 Thu

Supreme Tribe Leader Jenna approached the four Rogues, after Archer made their introduction. “Hello there, Archer and Eliza, glad to see that you two are well and back on your feet.” Turning toward Zorina and Timm, “Welcome Zorina and Timm, to the Feral Establisment. I am the Supreme Tribe Leader Jenna and these are my fellow tribe leaders Aislinn and Mara. I’m sure you already met Zev, he’s the one that brought you here.” At these words, Zev winked at Zorina. Jenna continued, “As fellow forest-dwellers, there is no doubt that the beast out there is a problem for the both of us. However, we must approach this being with caution. Therefore, I propose we come together with a solution in the meetinghouse, shall we?” Jenna led the way to the four Rogues while, Mara, Zev, and Aislinn walked behind.

After this display of words, Aislinn whispered to Mara and Zev, “Jenna really is a born leader, isn’t she?”

Zev maliciously smiled and replied, “ Yeah and she looks so cute when she talks all ‘look-at-me-I-am-the-leader-hear-me-roar!’ I can’t help but be attracted to her.”

Mara and Aislinn both rolled their eyes. Mara spoke out first, “Weren’t you just checking out that Rogue chick Zorina two minutes ago? God I would never want to be involved with you; you’d be trying to screw every pretty face that comes around.”

Zev lifted his eyebrows, as if to say ‘you walked into this one’ and replied, “Do you honestly think I would ever be attracted to you?”

Upon entering the hut, Jenna looked back and saw the trio walking behind the rest of group. However, more importantly, she saw Mara’s red face about ready to explode. Jenna thought to herself, “Oh no, not in front the Rogues, what is she thinking?!” Quickly, Jenna yelled to the trio, “Hey, I need someone to make sure everyone else is busy with repairs…” Mara quickly interrupts, “Yeah I think Zev should do it. Afterall he’s not a leader.”

Jenna walked up to Mara and said, “No, actually I think we should have a leader in charge so Mara you stay. I’m going to need Aislinn and Zev with me. He’s the best hunter and he can help out with a strategy. Besides I think you are…the...uh…
best…village-fixer-upper there is.”

Mara rolled her eyes at Jenna and said, “I can take a hint, Jenna. I didn’t want to go to some murky old hut anyways.” Mara turned on her heels and stomped toward some tribe members who seemed to be struggling with the rope on a support beam.

Jenna felt a bit embarrassed after Mara’s childish display, but still smiled and said to the others, “Please take a seat everyone. I am sorry about that. Just a little tribe business. You know how it is, don’t you Archer?”

Archer gave a confused smile and nod. As Jenna made her way around the table to her seat at the end against the wall, she pinched the back of Zev’s neck and whispered, “Now listen, I don’t know what that was all about, but you’d better have a good story by the time we’re done here.” All Zev could do was smile and nod. Guys seem to do that a lot around Jenna.

“Now I believe we have a problem on our hands,” Jenna said while taking her seat. “Archer, since you have seen this thing face to face, perhaps you may enlighten us as to what exactly are we getting ourselves into.”

Archer, looking as though her were really thinking back to that day in the forest…
