Subject: New to the city - a night of planning

Rhiannon sat huddled in the corner as Myron took the food and supplies from the man who was just leaving. It was cold and dark. She knew better than to cry, it only irritated him.

They had been together for a long time. And she didn't know how to live on her own. Myron hated his name, it made him sound geeky, and whenever she slippd and called him that, he hit her. Byron was his chosen nickname.

Byron/Myron turned to look at her, and snarled. "What are you thinking? If you keep sniveling like that, no one is going to want you, and how are we going to eat that way?"

Timidly, she responded, "I thought you were going to get us work at Eternal Bliss. That is why we came here, right?"

He stormed over and backhanded her. "Don't you dare talk back to me. I have kept us alive this long. I know what I am doing. You couldn't get a job there looking like you do. Not if you don't learn to sing or something."

The six foot tall man sat, and picked at the food. "You need to catch their attention. I think if we bring you out, and let them know you are willing to be the Bliss at Eternal Bliss, we might have a shot. Until then, shut up."
