Eve stepped inside a tall mansion-like building, the Enigmas Headquarters, making sure not to do anything that would arouse suspicion. Since it was formerly an insane asylum, Eve had to cross an enormous garden that they formed into a labrinth, leading up to the front of the hospital. Only those whom are supposed to a chosen Enigma would be able to find their way in. Eve was the Enigma�s leader, the first to find the asylum, however Evangeline was everything the Enigmas fought against. The Enigmas were a tribe based on questions and the whole idea that you must not do anything that may change the course of your life. The Enigmas are carefree, and while they often question too much, they never really care about finding the answers. Eve wants to become a star, and you must work in order to achieve this stardom. Therefore Eve must conceal her true thoughts in front of her tribe, but goes under the guise as Evangeline when she sneaks out to perform.

As soon as she started walking towards her room, a fellow Enigma stopped her. �Uhm�excuse me Miss Eve, but I saw you coming out of the Labrinth and I was wondering if something was wrong?�

Eve looked at the young girl no more than 12 years old, thought up a quick lie, smiled and said. �Beth, I was just making sure that the Labrinth is in tip top shape. I mean who would want to join a tribe that had a wasted looking challenge maze?� Beth was lucky enough to not have to go through the maze by herself, but was accompanying her older brother, Breckin.

Beth smiled and replied, �Oh you are absolutely right�I mean of course you are right, what was I thinking!� Beth turned on her heels, ears red in embarrassment, and ran towards her brother�s room.

Eve thought to herself, �I can�t believe she�s buying all this. I really hate to lie to this kid though. She may be a little na�ve, but she means well.� Eve couldn�t help but think about the fact that what if someone else saw her? Would it be that easy to deceive someone else?
