No, it comes from a black preacher named Prophet Omega that Colonel Bruce Hampton loved to listen to. Each week the
Rev. Omega would inform everyone that he was broadcasting his weekly sermons out of apartment Q-258. The Colonel
introduced Jeff as Apt. Q-258 one evening and it stuck.
If anyone hasn't see the Colonel in the move "Slingblade"
go rent it once. Billy Bob Thornton was robbed of best
actor that year. Dwight Yoakam did a GREAT performance as
the jerk from Hell that everyone wants to jerk through
the t.v. screen. This movie deserves a thread of its own
here on the forum. Anyone else care to comment???
