Man if I had known about shawn when I was fourteen I would probably be a lot better player and musician now!!

no shawns hands are not that big really. Just the normal average size, I myself have average sized hands and can do all of his crazy stretches quite easily. Just start off slowly and gradually increase your fret-hand stretch capabilities.
