Hello Kiddies,
I am Uncle Andy, the King of Midtown Memphis, the person who has been helping to promote Shawn's music and who lined him up to play at the Overton Park Shell a couple of weeks ago where he amazed the crowd and performed with all of the other acts to the thousands of Overton Park homeless(but not hungry anymore)peoples. I would like to thank Shawn for donating his time. All of the proceeds from the event have been and are being used to help feed all of the homeless and soon to be starving again people who live in Overton Park. It is now fixing to get cold in Memphis and many of the poor folks live and sleep in and under the Shell itself. Any support that could be given from any of the fans who visit this site would be greatly appreciated. Actually to maintain the spirit of the Lovefest concert I would only ask that food be given to the starving disenfrachized unfortunates down at the Shell,(I actually inadvertly donated my father's SUV to a young Mexican girl named Lola, please bring it back). I am presently trying to get local TV and radio stations to assist. If you would like to help, I can be reached at 901-767-4522. I am pretty sure that Shawn will participate in my next series of benefits which will be staged in the Mid-town area.
