Monday, November 4, 2002 from Kenny Wayne Baker's Thunderbolt Studios in Memphis Tennessee where he and I have been recording, engineering and working with many new promising local artists.
I have made many new friends here and Kenny is giving me free reign in the studio. I would like to say to all of my supporters that I deeply appreciate your patience and concern for my family, friends, and myself. I have only in the past several months come back from my month long tour of the states and subsequent month long tour of Italy, France, and the Netherlands whereupon I spent another month in Holland with my good friends Joris and Olaf who cared for me while I was a bit under the weather. The whole tour went very well, I especially liked hanging out at Souvik's house in North Carolina on the American leg of the tour and playing with Jeff Sipe after four and a half years which was truly fantastic. I enjoyed playing my first public duet with Jonas in Croatia and I got to see a really fine guitarist named Darko Jurkavic in Rijeka Croatia,i.e., Republika Hrvatska. I hope to soon venture out and do more shows. I am at this time trying to get more rest so that I can get my health in top form so that I can live a long life, make more recordings, and have many more challenging musical experiences. I will very shortly put more info up and participate in open and unmoderated forums if anyone so desires. The subject will not be confined exclusively to music. I have many other interests which lie in such areas as Science, philosophy, history, biology, astronomy and physics as well as movies, music, politics and pop culture in all of its manifestations. There will be much more info to come in the very near future and I ask that folks would discuss things which are often times more germane to real life and peoples around the world and not get so bogged down in the sheer physicalities of my picking technique. As is known from my past correspondence with Pernath's web site, which is one of my favorite sites, I live in Memphis Tn. and have recently been frequenting the University of Memphis campus where I have been attending lectures by renowned East Asian Studies Scholar Dr. Lung Kee Sun whose recently published book "The Chinese National Character" I engaged myself deeply in as well as discussions with him on many aspects of interest to myself. I read this unique book and greatly enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone interested in Chinese culture and Post Modern themes, especially in his endeavors to link themes of American Movies into his work and narrative. I hope to continue attending his classes there as well as others if possible and would like to say that the University of Memphis female students have shown an amazing and unexpected love for my music. I hope that if you see me on campus that you will always feel welcome and free to hang out and talk about anything that you wish and maybe come down and jam at the Studio. I sincerely appreciate all of your concerns directed towards me and my many prior dire situations and I feel that I recently turned a new corner on several issues. I met an amazing Memphis mystic and philanathrophist, by the name of Andy Diggs who has since proven to be an inspiration to myself and the entire Memphis Music and Arts community. His energy and mystical insights are inspiring us all to think on things previously unbeknownst in pir prior life experiences. Also H.T. Halterman, aka Archy, has been of great aid to me especially in many of my darker moments while I was recovering from a personal health and spiritual crisis. Anyone wanting to email me can do so at this email address and I am requesting of the folks who operate any of the forums to please in the future allow free, open, and uncensored discussions on any and all issues which peoples who visit such sites choose to engage in. I do have a sense of humour and I can take a good joke even if it is at my own expence.

I Love Buckethead, he is really great and I hope to play with him when I come to LA to meet with promoter Joe Sutton who is lining up gigs for us in the near future.
