hey metha

he uses jim dunlop jazz three picks(the red ones) and extra light 8's(handmade dr strings)

he also uses a peavey pro-fex preamp into a 4x10 cabinet.

although this may help you out his sound like any other player is in his hands and *not* in his equipment!!

shawn would sound like shawn on a fender squier through a pignose amp!!
