Subject: Change in Guitar Summit

Shawn will NOT perform at the Bethel Guitar Summit this weekend. This was his decision and not those involved with Bethel College or the music department of Bethel.
I received this notice from Bethel College today:
"A few days before his scheduled appearance, Shawn Lane cancelled his clinic and concert at the 2003 Guitarists Summit.
Bethel is excited about and appreciative of guitarist Andy Gurley stepping in on such short notice to headline this unique event. Also joining the roster is Rob Provine, who was recommended to the school personally by Regi Wooten.
Provine is a phenomenal guitar player who has appeared with Victor Wooten, the Flecktones, Raymond Massey, and Rock Williams. The 2003 Guitarists Summit will be a day full of great players, harmonic innovators, and incredible chops. Please join us this Saturday."
