Subject: How much did Hendrix influence Shawn?

Hi guys-

I'm just getting into Shawn and was torn up when I read that he passed away. All the good ones die young! Anyway, does anyone know how much Shawn liked Jimi's guitar playing and music? He did a brillant version of Dylan's "All Along The Watchtower". Did he play anymore Hendrix in live sets? Also, Shawn was an amazing guitar player. Did he ever do any finger picking playing or slide?
