Subject: 66 vs. 67 chevy II"s

Can somebody who actually knows the difference help me out. I keep hearing that a 66 and 67 are identical except for the front end.
But yet when I look at different pictures I see a dramatic difference in the rear 1/4 window. Now I see some pictures listed as 66's with the small and the big back 1/4 window but all of the pics of 67's I see have the small back window.
So what is it with the rear 1/4 windows and what other major differences are there?
