[THAT is Firestone???] Abeth asks incredulously, shooting a look of disgust and disbelief towards R'du. [They glorify THIS vile-smelling ugly Rock!?] 'Oh, shut up and get over it.' R'du replies in an annoyed tone, strangely distorted as he has his fingers firmly clamped over his nostrils.
Abeth snorts, [see? you know it smells, and don't tell ME to get over it, how would YOU like to eat that stuff?] R'du shutters but admits defeat with a conspiratorial laugh. Softening a bit he reiterates...'Really though, you have to chew it sometime, so you might as well get it over with.' Offering Abeth a rock between his fingertips at arms length, he adds, trying to be incouraging, 'besides, it can't taste any worse than it smells.'
Grudgingly, the bronze accepts, trying desperately to shut the smell out of his nostrils. [EEEEEEWWWwwww... you were wrong... it DOES taste worse..., oh wait, Kyrath said to move it to the molars. Much better :) ] R'du laughs lovingly at his dragon's thoughts. But after a few minutes of continued chewing, he becomes a bit anxious. 'Why isn't anything happening?' he asks curiously. [I don't kn-] Abeth is cut off by a loud belch and a fork of fire two feet long. 'Wow! Great job!' R'du exclaims, his eyes widening in delight. 'See, that wasn't so bad!' [Um...] Abeth doesn't seem so sure. R'du, confused, looks at Abeth and follows his gaze as he nods his head to the spot towards which his fire had gone. 'Uh- oh.' R'du says softly with a guilty impish smile. The hem of the weyrlady's cloak had caught fire!

ooc: hehehehe... the great ME has arrived. oh, and sorry, z'var for kind of borrowing your idea... i just really liked it and i tried to make it a bit original, so i hope ur not mad. Raja... 2 things... first, is it ok that because this charry hasn't been played in a while that i just kind of have him appear and pretend he's been here the whole training session? and second, mykelleh just arrived, she's here at the star stone looking for you.
