Josie leaned forward and tugged lightly on his long floppy ears while talking jibberish to him.
Splash marched up behind Josie angrily and hit her on the foot with his paw while releasing a loud yip.
"Ooh! Splash you little fart! You know I love you the most!" Josie knelt down and pushed her puppy sideways. Splash sprung back and jumped onto Josie's back. Josie walked over to her bed and tossed Splash off. As soon as he hit the mattress a loud crash of thunder burst out of the sky sending the pup into a mad dash under the bed.
"Wow big storm."
She listened closely for a while, hearing loud barks coming from up the hall. Josie opened the door and walked down the hall.
