Subject: After a long day at work.......

Laura walked into the large apartment building, exhausted after a long day of work. In Laura's left hand was a small pet carrying case, containing the newest member of Laura's family, a 3 1/2 week old kitten name Snickers. Snickers mother died a week after she was born. At first, Snickers refused to be bottle fed and lost a lot of weight. With a lot of effort and care, Snickers began to eat and is almost at a normal weight for her size. With a lot of effort and care, Snickers began to eat and is almost at a normal weight for her size. Laura had to bring the kitten with her to work everyday so that she could feed her whenever needed. The little kitten was so adorable. When Laura got to her apartment, she unlocked the door and walked in. Right away, she was jumped on by her German Shepard puppy, Cassidy. "Down Casey!! Wait untill I get Snicker's into my room." Laura carried the pet box into her bedroom and put it down on her bed. She opened the box and took Snickers out. The little kitten at this point was meowing like crazy. "Shhh....relax sweetie!" Laura had place a 1 1/2 ft wire fence around a corner of the room. In that corner, she had put a litter box, a bowl of fresh water, and a small cat toy. Laura put Snicker's into her little fenced off area and left the room. She clipped a leash to Casey's collar and led her out the door. She took her for a medium length walk and played a game a fetch with her. Then she walked back into her apartment. She cleaned Cassidy's food and water dish and gave her fresh water and puppy chow. Then she walked over and opened the bag she had brought home with her. Hey Casey! I got you a new toy! With that she pulled out a small bone shaped chew toy. The puppy ran over excitedly and happily took the chew toy. Laura left the happy puppy and went to check on the kitten. The kitten cried as Laura entered the room. She put her paws up over the wire fence and attempted to clime out. Laura went back into the kitchen and heated up some kitten fomula. Then she poured it into a baby bottle and went back in to feed her. When the kitten seemed content, Laura took a quick shower. Once she was in her Pajama's She walked back into her room and turned on the tv. She picked up Snicker's and collapsed on her bed. "Cassidy! Come her sweetie." The puppy jumped up and ran into Laura's room. She leaped onto her bed and curled up by her feet. The three of them layed down contently and soon, Laura had fallen alseep.
