Subject: setting up apartment

After a long day and a hard race, Lesley opened the door to her apartment and walked in. "Finally!" She stripped off and took a shower. After her shower, Lesley started to unpack her possessions. She had already put her clothes in the closet but needed to unpack 'the little things.' The first thing was a stuffed animal she's had all her life, Fuzzball. "I knew I didnt forget you!" Lesley said to the stuffed dog. She resumed unpacking. The next item was a picture of her and Mike. "I have to call him!" Lesley reminded herself. Next came a photo of her on her first horse, Skip. It brought tears to her eyes to see the picture of her with a broad smile on her six year old face sitting on the tall thoroughbred. She placed it on her dresser. And the next picture was of her petting Secretariat. Lesley may have been only seven when she pet him, but that is one thing you never forget. She smiled at the picture and placed it next to Skip. And the final photo was of Easy, Shy, and April, all in a row, looking at the camera. Lesley remembered taking the picture. I was so hard to make them stand still! She then plopped on her bed, turned on MTV, and called Mike.
