He removed the hand from her cheek, and looked away from her eyes. He forced his eyes anywhere...just not into hers. He studied his hand that was laced with hers. It wove a pattern of love. He glared at it. How could he kill one of his best friends? Granted she was a girl, but he hardly noticed her as one. She was just one of the guys. A close girl that was spunking and fun loving. He could see why she disliked the girl. But she couldn't compare to the other girl. Zeth had onced loved her, but he had fallen for Cluadia. Fallen so deeply he wasn't sure he'd ever be able to free himself from the pit. But that didn't seem to bother him. He rather liked it the way it was. Why did he have to be tested? Why did he have to kill her. Claudia... He broke off unsure of what to say. She could plainly see it on his face.:.
