Not bothering to respond to the larger bronze, Reputh keeps his eyes on the verdant jewel just ahead. While he is indeed smaller than his competitor, the small corner of his mind that has retained any semblance of reason tells him he can use this to his advantage. He is lighter and swifter, and will be better able to get through small places. Another advantage presents itself as he sees his quarry dive striaght down. Heart in his mouth, he follows without a thought, snapping rust-colored pinions close to his body as he angles himself towards the plummeting green.

She makes towards the water, and satisfied that she won't suicide, as was his initial panic-stricken thought, he makes towards her. Soon, soon, soon, NOW he is above her, and spreads his wings open with a snap that sends small jolts up his spine. If she should make but one move upwards she will be his, trapped in the net his wings make. She is caught between the water and himself...will it work?

((The first trip between made S'har sick...he passed out, and wasn't strong enough for another trip when Reputh heard Oli rise. He has no idea what is going on, except for what he can get from Reputh, which in his current state isn't much *g*))
