Here's a bit about the novels that are available now.

A Mike Claymore Mystery: Florence
Mike is a truck driver for Canadian Pacific Express and Transport and on the side he does security work for a local firm with government contracts. This is due to his background in the military, police and prisons. He has a sidekick, a truckstop waitress named Trudy who rides with him when she can. He takes on an investigation of a murder when his fellow driver and pal is charged with the crime. Trudy assists him in the investigation and proves to be as good a sleuth as Mike. Meanwhile Mike also employs the assistance of a neighbor's wife who works for the police. She and her husband are old friends of Mike and his wife, Marlene.
As the story unfolds we begin to get some insight into the makeup of this complex cast and the tangled lives they lead. Follow Mike over the highways and byways of Western Canada and into the seamy and dark side of life in the Vancouver area.

A Mike Claymore Mystery: Wendel
In this novel Mike and Marlene join a group of hunters in the fall and travel up into the interior of British Columbia. Also he employs the services of Trudy, now his mistress, to babysit for them. Trudy and Marlene in the same house together? What is the world coming to?
Surely Marlene will figure out what she is to Mike.
You will have to read the novel to find out.
While enjoying the rest and fun of a hunting trip an accident occurs and one of the party is shot. Was it an accident? ...or was it murder? Mike is asked to find out exactly that and in true fashion he enlists the help of Trudy once again. This is a mystery to the last page and as thrilling as only Mike and Trudy can make it. You will also meet the newest members of Mike's team in this novel.
Jack White is an ex-RCMP Officer and Lily is a product of the Singapore Drug Squads. See how these new members fit into the team and see more of the highways and byways of Western Canada.

Here is a bit of background on the hero, Mike Claymore.

Mike is half Scottish and half Mohawk. He is tall, dark skinned and very handsome. He was born south of Montreal in Cawgnewaga reserve and grew up there as well as later in the Brantford area of Ontario. When he was still a very young teenager his father took his mother to visit his brothers in Scotland but they were involved in a tragic
accident there and their bodies were returned to Brantford to be buried at the Mohawk Chapel. Mike took this much harder than his brother and sisters. He renounced the religeous teachings of his father, the tribal teachings of his mother's brother and he joined the navy. Here he found solace with a psuedo family of other enlisted men and here he found a trade. He drove truck for the military from
coast to coast hauling armaments and ammunitions. This was how he met his wife on the west coast. She rode with him in his truck and they became a team.
Mike found it easy to pick up many women as he plied the highways of the nation and it became a way with him to share his sleeper with whichever one caught his eye. After the Navy Mike entered service with the Penitentiary Service of Canada in Ontario. After a torrid affair with a female Ontario Provicial Police officer Mike takes his wife and family west to her family's home base in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia. Here Mike quickly finds work with a local security company and advances to private investigator
but the work is scarce so Mike goes back to his first love, truck driving. Thus we find Mike in the first novel driving for CP Express and Transport out of Port Coquitlam, British Columbia.
