Hi there and congrats on your up coming marriage. I am not sure where you live but I used to live in Massachusetts. In New Hampshire not far from Keene there is a place called the Cathedral of the Pines. It is a beautiful place and they do hold weddings there. Depending on the time of year and the weather there are several beautiful outside cathedral settings and there is a very old fashioned (almost ancient royal like from a harliquin novel) stone chappel.
For a gown? Why not a simple white full lenght sun dress with a circle of flowers (roses/daisy's) in your hair with or without a veil. and carry a bouquet of the same?
the reception can be anyplace you choose and as elaborate or simple as you wish. It will be YOUR memories.
The honeymoon? Pack the car and take a road trip...stopping where your hearts lead you to...see a pretty view or a tourist attraction. Again they are memories you will make together.
The less that is PLANNED the fewer things can go wrong.
Live Love Laugh...and make wonderful memories.
Have Several Great Days
