Hi
Last weekend we raced at Wales for the shwalbe round we got there on Saturday afternoon .

We went round the course which was pretty hard there was a really long climb right from the start you could ride the first half but the 2nd half you had to run because you went up a track where motor bikes had been and the ground was that soft that you had to run which was really hard work (but good for cross training! ) you then went along a edge of a field down then it to a good bit of single track through a river then you got to the finish the lap was about 35 minutes long .

I raced with the youth lads because no other women were there. Our race started at 11.30 on Sunday the vets went off first there were about 12 in that category including my dad then about a minute later we went off I think there were about 14 racing all together, I got a good start and was first up until the end of the first half of the climb where Adam Gascoigne passed me , I kept on catching the vets up until I was 3rd in the race with Dad and Adam a couple of minutes in front I only had to do one lap so I finished 1st girl and would have been 2nd out the lads but they had to do 2 laps . My brother also had a really good ride finishing 1st juvenile! And my Dad also finishing 1st vet.

Gotta go ! I goin to the sams this weekend cyaz then !
Nikki
