Ears are pressed against salt-and-pepper tresses as nostrils flare to take in the stench... He throws his head back in a shrill whinney of warning to his mares while spinning to find the threat. Somehow he felt safer with Night Watchman there... He charges toward the newcomer, ivories bared. Running would be the smart choice, gelding...
