[ slender stripling stands hesitantly 'pon the golden sands, digits clutching 'round muscled arms with self-concious nervousness. Wide, dark eyes peer around with wonder, at the incredible vastness o' the bowl in which she stood ]
[ though she was afraid, a small amount o' calmness crept through her body at the touch o' a tiny beast alighting her shoulder, miniscule talons digging int' the specially prepared shoulder pad. A creature so alike a dragon rubbed it's tiny wedge-shaped head against her cheek, sending her thoughts of comfort. Small, even for it's kind, a smile 'twas brought t' the girl's lips at it's great heart, sending it back thoughts of affection, digits rising t' rub it's glittering white tail that twined around her neck ]
[ suddenly the air above her was filled with clear, brassy bugles and the flap of wings as a mass of 'fire lizards' appeared, darting around her possessively. Their thoughts were clear - there was nothing to be worried about, they were with her ]
[ filled with a new sense o' purpose and confidence, she cast her gaze around for someone who lived in the weyr, digits still wringing nervously at each other ]
