 One book that was helpful for us even before we started using this book was The Usborne Complete Book of the Microscope. Written mostly for the younger ones, the pictures are fantastic!


The book that we used when my children were ready for serious microscope work was
Exploring With the Microscope : A Book of Discovery & Learning (Book of Discovery & Learning) This one is more involved but has great resources listed plus has some of the answers to the questions we studied!
