  • "I like you in pink...and in braids." He stated with a raised brow before he shifte to stand up, pressing a kiss to Tia's cheek. "Go home to your husband, Tia, enjoy a night off, we'll watch the girls." He winked at her before he set Alecia down and smirked when the four year old promptly just followed him into the kitchen. He knelt down, brushing back her pale hair with a smile. "Uncle Blake is going to cook dinner ok? I don't want you to get hurt in here so you go pick out a movie and Arista will put in for you ok?" He smiled as the little girl headed immediatly to the entertainment center. To be honest, he definitely wanted one or two little girls that he could spoil and coddle... • Ari smiled at her step mom as she wandered over and pressed a kiss to her cheek, sitting up and assuring her it would be fine, telling her they'd drop them home after they'd eaten. She lowered herself onto the floor and scooted forward to the TV to help Alecia with the Movie, taking the disney movie from the little girl and loading it up. Laila followed Blake into the kitchen and sat herself at the counter, asking him enthusiastically about other guys on the ciruit and their girlfriends, while Abbi hauled her little sister into her lap on the couch and made space for Arista. Ari liked helping her parents out, she adored them both, and her little sisters, and she really didn;t mind spending time with them, especially since she travelled aorund with Blake so much. • He got dinner started before he headed out towards the living room, pausing to rest against the doorway as he watched the way she cuddled up on the couch with her sisters. It was such a little domestic scene and he couldn't help but picture the way that she would look with his kids around her, all settled in and happy with her lot in life. Yeah, he definitely needed to get that ball started rolling. "I love you." He spoke clearly, unashamed to announce it front of all the girls before he winked lightly and looked back to the sister who had been following him. "Yeah, most of the guys have girlfriends." • He shook his head quietly, his brow furrowed a touch as he looked down at her, pondering for a moment why she had decided to settle down with him, how had he gotten so lucky? Shrugging off his thoughts, he leaned down to place a kiss to the top of her head lovingly, smiling a touch. "No, I think I got it under control..." He murmured absently, brushing the back of his finger down her cheek before he stepped back. "Go on, baby, go relax and watch your movie, I'll call you when dinner is ready." • She smiled softly and allowed her deep brown eyes to linger on him a moment before she merely nodded a little and headed back into the lounge with her sisters, squeezing into the couch between Abbi and Laila and letting Alecia crawl into her lap. She had been pretty much grown up when her sisters became any fun, but she had certainly made up for it since her flighty teenage years. Arista had always worried that she would turn into her mother- her real mother- that she'd never feel settled or content anywhere. She'd thought she;d been happy with Kevin, she'd moved in with him and everything, but it hadn;t been enough to keep her grounded- but she could only see that now, now she'd found the real thing. • He was pretty good when it came to sea food and before long he had the place smelling of shrimp and marina, rice pilaf and brownies in the oven for desert. What could he say, he was born to be domestic. A smile played on his lips as he looked out at the girls who were seeming to get a bit sleepy from the sun shining in on them and the movie playing in the background. "Abbi, can you and Lailia come and set the table please?" He called out, breaking out a bottle of wine for him and Arista and then instructing Alicia to get cans of soda out of the fridge and to put them on the counter so he could pour them into glasses.   • "Let me spoil you." He responded in return for her offer to help. His lips brushed down against hers but as usual just a taste wasn't enough and he found himself curling his fingers around her hip and tugging her closer as he slanted his lips more intently over hers, his eyes sliding shut and a soft breath escaping into her mouth. He would have continued with the kiss if Laila hadn't come in with a huff and a grumbled 'get a room' which made him laugh and pull back, nuzzling his girlfriends neck softly. ."We have a room but you were in it." He stated, winking at the girl playfully before he swatted at Rista's bum to have her get away and go sit down. "Laila, be nice to me, I made your favorite kind of marinara." • She had just been getting into the kiss when she heard the dulcet tones of their interuption in the form of her fourteen year old sister, and she almost guiltily unknoted her hands from her boyfriends shirt, clearing her throat and grinning a touch at his sassy remark. She took his hint and headed back to the table, sitting down and letting Alecia climb up into the seat next to hers. She laughed at her sisters enthusiasm and watched Blake with a secretive little grin, her eyes filled with completely devotion and love for him. They both had their pasts- though hers had been much less painful than his. She knew he didn;t like to talk about it- and she never pushed him- she never pushed for anything with him or anyone else generally- it was just the kind of person she was. • He grinned lightly before he made up Alecia's plate and pressed a kiss to the top of her head and then got everyone's drinks, pouring a glass of wine for him and Arista. He usually wasn't a big wine drinker but wine and shrimp just sounded good to him that night. A smile played on his lips as finally sat down himself, letting everyone dig in as he watched with appreciation. He never spoke of his past, not to anyone. He had pushed it out of his mind as if he could just pretend it never happened, start all over with Rista and forget that anything had ever taken the joy out of his life. • He had told her once what had happened- but only the bare necessities- he'd met a girl, got her pregnant and both her and the child had died, that much she knew- but she didn;t know anything else... and she presumed if he ever wanted to talk about it or share it that he would tell her when he felt ready. She met his gaze and smiled fully, mouthing a silent 'thank you' to him before continuing eating, taking small sips of her wine now and again. Arista didn;t tend to drink much- but she did have the odd glass of wine of a beer now and again- she;d never been a party girl or anything like that. The girls ate in silence, too absorbed int he delicious meal to think about bickering or chatting. • He smiled lightly, tipping his head to the side as he watched the girls say thank you. "All of you work together and clean up and put away the leftovers and then we'll go to the movies, sound ok?" He questioned, the girls nodding in excitement and quickly working together to get the kitchen cleaned up and the table cleared, the dishwasher being loaded and all that. While they were occupied, Blake stood, pulling Rista from her chair and winking down at her before he guided her into the bedroom, closing the door behind them and leaning her back against it. One hand ran up his arm and her fingers combed lovingly through his hair, dropping her face to nuzzle against his neck lovingly. "Your so great with them..." • He just smiled at that, nuzzling gently at her neck as he let out a soft breath and pressed a kiss to her jaw. "You'll be a great mom." He stated softly, his eyes on her for a moment. It was a lot to risk, letting her get pregnant and maybe that was a part of the reason he hadn't sleep with her yet, unwilling to take that risk. Evie had died giving birth and he was terified to take that risk with Blake, he would die if anything happened to her and never forgive himself if something happened to a baby of theirs. • She smiled and let her eyes slide closed and he nuzzled her neck, imagining them with kids of their own. She wasn't really sure on the delay of their engagement, but she wasn't too worried- it would happen when it was right- she knew he loved her and she was sure they'd spend the rest of their lives together- happily. She lifted her lips to his to kiss him sweetly, just as she heard Alecia let out a shreiking cry from the other room. She frowned and broke the kiss, listening as an arguement ensued between the two older girls over whos fault it was that their little sister got trodden on. She smiled a touch and leaned up to brush a kiss to his cheek "get changed... I'll sort it." She slipped out of their room and hushed the girls, picking up her youngest sister and helping the girls organise themselves as she bounced the little girl on her hip naturally. • He smiled warmly and watched her go before he went to change into a pair of jeans and a black v-neck sweater with a white beater underneath it. His blonde hair fell over his forehead in unruley waves but he had long since learned there was nothing he could do to control them. He smirked at his reflection and shrugged before heading out the door and to the living room. "Alright, everything all clean?" He questioned, raising his brow as he looked around at the girls - with his luck he was going to have all girls and even though he was going to adore whatever children he had, the idea of this many girls overwhelmed him. • Ari grinned as he appeared in the doorway, arching a brow to him before nodding a touch "All clean, all ready." She grabbed the house keys and ushered the girls out, all except for Alecia who clung onto his leg, begging to be picked up and carried.

  It was several hours later when they returned home minorless- having dropped her sisters home with Tia and her dad- and being talked into staying for a coffee and a chat. It made her feel so grown up- taking the kids out, taking her boyfriend to have coffee with her parents. It seemed a little surreal. Arista shrugged off her shirt as they entered, wearing a tank beneath it, and let down her long thick curls, a smile still dancing over her lips. "I had a great night baby, thanks" She dropped into the couch, resting her head back with a sigh "I hope we dont have that many girls. They would drive me insane I think..." • "I do want a couple girls..." He murmured, letting her crsawl into his lap as he wrapped his arms firmly around her, tucking his chin onto her shoulder. "...but if we start to get at like four and no boys, we are going to start adopting the girls out." He grinned lightly, leaning down to press a kiss to her jaw. "No need to thank me, honey, this is the kind thing I am supposed to do, right?" He shrugged his shoulders, grinning a touch. She let out a sigh and settled against his side, closing her eyes contently as she curled up against him "You;re right... this is what you're supposed to do.... but I can still appreciate that you do it." She grinned a little, winding her arms around him lovingly. "When do you wanna do the kids thing?"
