Check under your distributor cap for moisture or for carbon tracking between the spark plug wire "towers". If you have never replaced the rotor and cap, you might want to do that.

If the cap looks good, I'd change your fuel filter and also put some gas dryer in the tank. You might have excess water in the tank, or the fuel filter(s) might be starting to plug, and you are not getting the high fuel flow rates you need when accelerating....good luck, glen
