My dad got the idea to change the alternator cap along with the spark plugs and lo and behold we found the problem.

My car has been losing oil recently and my dad and I wondered where it went. When we were removing the spark plugs, we found them covered in oil. We're currently replacing the spark plugs, and the alternator cap (might as well).

What's the cause of this problem?
