Depending on the temperatures in your area, if it was rather mild the last couple of weeks that it ran fine and if it recently got colder in your area, it may be that they used gear oil in your trany and not 10W30 or 10W40 as your car should call for. That gear oil, if cold, would make your car almost impossible to shift unless it was warmed up.

If they replaced the clutch cable, it is possible that the cable has streched and needs to be adjusted (simple process). And then, as George stated, it may be possible that something was screwed up during the clutch job.
