My accord (2000 SE 4 cyl) is lag of power and stall often and I like to test out the spark condition of of the plugs. I am thinking of taking the spark plug out of the engine and reconnect the boot when the plug is out, short circuit the "screw part" of the plug to the ground using a clip and wire. with a helper momentarily crank the engine and see if the spark is healthy. My concern is whether I will screw up the electronic ignition or even the car computer doing it this way. Any idea or help is appreciated.
