My 94 Accord gas gauge droops by about 1/5 of a tank all the time, and sometimes it collapses into empty for no apparent reason BUT my gas warning light works, cruise and odometre/speedometre are unaffected.

Does that mean that my sensor is fine and the gas gauge problem is something else entirely? I always thought it was something with the sensor....

Pounding on the dash does not affect it (but makes the clock come back on!)
