There is a plug near the top of the transmission slighly above the level of the driveshaft between the passenger's side driveshaft and the firewall of the car.

If you've lost 5th and reverse is grinding, adding oil won't help - they are on the same shaft in the transmission, and it is a matter of time before you'll lose reverse. The manual calls for 10w40, not heavy weight gear oil by the way...good luck, glen
