Hi Donald

I have a similar problem with my 93 Accord Wagon, 94K miles. Is the cable that you are referring to the one that goes across the front of the aluminum housing at the top rear of the engine compartment? There is an obvious adjustment point, then it goes under a pulley to the left, then curves around and forward, then down to the transmission. Is that it? What adjustment did you do? In park, with the car shut off, my cable is just a bit loose. Does this sound familiar?

Thank you!

Tom
