The horn on my '89 Accord started to blow on it's own. My neighbor called me(I didn't hear it) but by the time I pulled the wire off of it, the battery was dead. anyway, I removed the horn button assembly from the steering wheel and checked all 4 buttons. They are not shorted to ground. If I hook the horn back up, it will blow until the cows come home. Also, now the cruise control has stopped working at the same time. Does anybody have any tips or advice on where to direct my search? Also, while I think of it, I've had this problem with the cooling fan running continuously after the car is shut off. The car is cool. This has been an ongoing problem. Should I look to one of the temperature sensors? I unplugged the 2 in the water outlet, and the fan keeps running. I know there is also a timer under the passenger seat. I have unplugged the relay and plugged it back in to no avail. I can hear it clicking. The fan will start after the car has been shut off for over an hour. I am more worried about the horn and cruise control. According to my Haynes manual, there is no horn relay? Does that sound right? Those are the only electrical prblems this week. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
