I had the same problem with my ignition switch. The actual key portion of the switch is probably ok. It is the wire harness which attaches to the switch unit that is probably the culprit. All you have to do is remove the plastic covering around the steering wheel. The lower portion which surrounds the key switch itself should be all you need to pull off. Plus you need to pull the kick panel which would be in front of your knees while sitting in the drivers seat. You will then see which harness to unplug and how it routes to the switch and the screws which attach the harness to the switch. Be careful of the sbs system. They are the yellow harnesses. May be a good idea to disconnect the battery. Make sure you have your radio code before you do that. Good luck.
