yes I understand the whole d4 light blink problem. I have the same on my 93 accord LX and its not the computer. My light stops blinking once the engine cools down.. there is a coolent sensor under the timing cap near the water pump. once the car reaches a certain tempature its a saftey feature that does not allow the car to start untill its reached a normal temp so that way you dont harm your car.. I havent fixed mine yet but i will soon.. theres your problem and good luck to you and your daughter. the honda accord 92-93 i think was the best year for style and comfert.. they are good cars...
