 i too have the same problem. the door locks and unlocks ok using the powerlocks, just not with the key.

i havent done anything about this, yet. but im planning to open up the drivers-side door and see if i can figure out whats going on. it seems like a simple mechanical issue that might be easily fixed, since it will still lock.

does this also cause a problem with rolling your DS window down? when it gets to a certain point, there is a scaping sound as of metal against glass, and the window doesnt quite fit perfectly in the weather-stripping.

ill be sure to post on here if i make any progress.
