Bill,

Good to see you helping your folks out.

Do you know if he pulled fuses 5,6, and 7 under the hood? I think there is a fuse for each motor relay, and then a fuse that goes to the switch to put them up or down. Problem is, these fuses may also run other things, so you may not be able to just pull them.

Instead, you may want to diagnose the headlights and get that fixed. The relay for the retractors is on the right side of the engine bay, and that may be the culprit if the motors work fine and the switch in the dash seems okay.

Or, I'd suggest unplugging the motors and see if that stops your battery drain....just some thoughts...Glen
