Hello

My car got flooded about a month ago. The computer was fried, and I had to replace it among other things. The car is a honda accord with automatic transmission. But now I am having problems accelerating...especially after having stopped...the rpms would go up, but the car won't move, almost as if I was pressing on the gas while in neutral. I had the transmission flushed several weeks ago, and the residue liquid that came out looked like chocolate milk. We constantly did it over and over and it seem that there still would be some residue still.

Is the sign of early transmission death? Should I do another transmission flush? (they charge 90 bucks at pepboys). Any recommendations and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

One thing that I noticed, that if I parked and changed gears to neutral and later back to Drive, the car had less problems accelerating. But then, thats not a good long term solution.

And...How much does a new transmission cost for a honda accord 90 model?
