Hi all!

I've read through all of the past threads and I've noticed how people with 90-97 Accords have experienced stiff vibrating of the steering wheel whenever worn motor mounts or EGR ports need to be cleaned.

My question is, how do you assess which one is the problem?

I have a 1993 Accord that vibrates (steering wheel) when I'm idle and goes away when I'm past acceleration. A shop told me I needed motor mounts, but that would cost around the same as an EGR port cleaning (around $250) According to many of the threads here, it sounds like I have the EGR blockage, but if that's true, I would like to clean them myself. How would I go about this process? I have seen how it's done on a 6-cylinder accord at

Is it any different on the 4 cylinder? Thanks in advance!
