Hello everyone, well i figured out that my brushes are worn in my alternator. I called and found a guy that sells the kit of brushes for $5, wow what a deal. My dad had done this a few years ago, instead of replacing the entire alternator, he put in the new brushes. My question is, how do you do this?? can u just take off the silver back cover of the alternator while leaveing the alternator bolted into the car?
is this a hard task?
thanks
