There are two reasons why you have an SRS light on. Either the SRS unit is bad or you may have a bad cable reel. Do you still have your horn and Cruise control? If you don't then you have a bad Cable reel. This is right behind the steering wheel. It is not hard to replace. Make sure you ust the shorting plug when you remove the airbag from the steering wheel. From there on it is quite simple. Oh, make sure you disconnect the battery before you decide to do this. Make sure you also have your radio code.
