I have a 93 accord also...Lx automatic..yes sometimes it could be the TPS and then it wont be.. have replaced my TPS and the car still revs the same rpms as you said.. I had it checked out and its the Idle Controll motor that is bad...I would have them both checked out before buying anything off ebay...The TPS does not have to have the whole throttle body replaced.. It does need to be takin off to be able to replace the sensor.. Be carefully of the Vacum line hoses do not break them..The Stock TPS will be pop riveded on so you will need to use a drill bit to sorta drill out the rivets twist out the pieces of metal left in the wholes...That is if there are no screw driver marks in them.. Use pliers to unscrew the old pieces of metal. and just put new screws in with the sensor.. I bought mine from a pull it yard for 25$ you might be able to get yours cheaper depending on the place. you can use 92-93 sensors. 90-91 had 2.0 leter engines..You have the F22 2.2 leter..
