I have a 1990 accord ex and the TPS went bad. I got a replacement throttle assembly from a used parts place. It cost 145$ and it worked fine.

I guess you could replace only the sensor, but I would think you would have to be pretty careful to get it installed properly in the throttle body. Honda does not sell only the sensor-most wrecking yards don't want to break it out and sell the whold throttle assembly. But note that you are getting some other parts replaced also when you install the whole banana.
