Well, I've never heard of someone doing a VTEC automatic. Trust you don't want to. The H22 engine is meant to rev high, and for that you want a manual transmission. But if you really want to go the auto route, it should work. The F22, H23, and H23 all bolt up to the same transmissions. They all have the same motor mounts as well, so they are basically direct swaps.

For your car, with the Auto, I would recommend the H23. Its a little larger, and has more low-end torque than the F22 or even the H22. It would would be the best match for you Accord with Auto.
